Kathy and John believe that moving to Sanibel in 1987 was the best decision they have made in their 30 years together. They feel blessed that they were given the opportunity to raise their family in this unique, environmentally protected paradise, where they are surrounded by caring friends of various backgrounds from all corners of the globe. They know the secret: that Sanibel-Captiva Islands and Southwest Florida offer a lifestyle, not just a place to live. 

After selling their business, they made the decision to help newcomers to the area find their tropical dream homes. Their many satisfied cutomers have been thrilled with the Petel's strong negotiating skills, and tireless effort in seeing to smooth, hassle-free transactions. Using their talents from successful backgrounds in corporate marketing and sales management, they bring a refreshing approach to real estate sales.

Getting Personal With John 

John was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and educated at Kent State University. He has held executive sales/marketing positions in the paper industry, working with both a Fortune 500 company and as an entrepreneur in co-founding his own specialty papers manufacturing and distribution company. He enjoys singing, reading, playing bridge, and has a love/hate relationship with golf. 

Getting Personal With Kathy 

Kahty was born in Salem, Ohio, and graduated from Bowling Green State University, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She enjoyed a successful marketing career before she and John made the decision for her to stay home and raise their family. In addition to her amusing golf game and taking long walks, Kathy is a passionate quilter and wonderful chef. She is the inspiration for their "From Our Kitchen to Yours" marketing campaign.
