Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from Southwest Florida! As we pause once more this Thanksgiving holiday, I reflect on all I have to be thankful for over the past year. Your business, partnership, support and friendship are invaluable to me. I fell in love with Southwest Florida many years ago and it’s a blessing to live and work in paradise.

Did you know? In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and the Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledge today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. For more than two centuries, days on Thanksgiving were celebrate by individual colonies and states. It wasn’t until 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, that President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November.
